Zeitungsausschnitt (erschienen am 04.04.1916) von Wilhelm Rudolph (1898-1916), der auf dessen Tod hinweist. Zusätzlich ist ein Foto von ihm in Uniform aus dem Jahre 1916 vorhanden. Rudolph wollte eigentlich Lehrer werden, hat sich dann aber als Freiwilliger gemeldet. Nach zwei Kriegsajren fiel er in der Schlacht um Verdun. Kurz zuvor traf er in Beligen noch einmal seinen Vater.

Foto und Feldpost von Franz Rudolph. Rudolph war zu Beginn des Krieges ca. 18 oder 19 Jahre alt und der älteste Sohn von Pauline Rudolph. Er diente als Musketier im 251. Reserve-Infanterie-Regiment, 2. Bataillon, 8. Kompanie. Am 17.03.1915 wurde er im Gefecht bei Lipinki schwer verletzt und starb am 18.03.1915 im Lazarett. Feldpostkarte und Foto || Feldpostkarte und Foto von Wilhelm Kind, der Großvater mütterlicherseits von Ingrid Wohland. Er wurde 1877 geboren und war bei der Kaiserlichen Marine. Er diente auf dem Kriegsschiff S.M.S. Pfeil (der Zweiten von 1882), die 1922 abgewrackt wurde. Wilhelm Kind hat den Krieg überlebt. Die Feldpostkarte ist an Wilhelm Josef Kind, dem Urgroßvater von Ingrid Wohland, geschrieben: Lieber Vater und Alle. Mein Bild und die besten Grüße an Euch Allen sendet Euer Wilhelm. Die Karte wurde am 18.09.1914 in Wilhelmshaven abgestempelt. Das Motiv zeigt ihn links stehend mit zwei weiteren Kameraden. Die Fotografie zeigt ihn links stehend in Matrosenuniform zusammen mit einem unbekannten Kameraden.
