Hahn war Hauptmann im Generalstab der Württembergischen 26. Infanterie-Division. Beförderung am 08.11.1914 zum Hauptmann. Ab 1915 im Generalstab. Auszeichnungen: Eisernes Kreuz 1. Klasse und Eisernes Kreuz 2. Klasse; Ritterkreuz des Königlich Preußischen Hausordens von Hohenzollern mit Schwertern. Eugen Hahn war an der Westfront, Italienfront und Ostfront im Einsatz. Er wurde im Krieg nur leicht verwundet und blieb nach dem Krieg Offizier.

Feldpostkarten von Eugen Boß an seinen Bruder 1915/16

2 Feldpostkarten vom 18.08.1915 und 23.04.1916 an seinen Bruder - im Lazarett die stehende Person. || Eugen Boß wurde in den 1890er Jahren in Pforzheim geboren und war gelernter Polsterer. Er diente bei der Marine als Matrose und wurde einmal verwundet. 1918/19 heiratete Boß und arbeitete im Anschluss als Nachtwächter in Bochum auf dem Bochumer Verein, da er so mehr Geld verdienen konnte als in seinem alten Beruf als Polsterer. Boß starb 1949 in Bochum.
