Jurnalul capelanului Tiborc F. Rejöd

Dr. Tiborc F. Rejöd era la inceputul Primului Razboi Mondial capelan romano-catolic in Sibiu.De fapt era la acea vreme singurul preot catolic ramas in Sibiu. Cartea intitulata Das Blutige Schwert uber unserer Stadt reda insemnarile zilnice din jurnalul acestuia, din perioada cuprinsa intre 28 august 1914- 1 octombrie 1916.Cartea descrie viata de zi cu zi cetatenilor orasului Sibiu ( sasi si romani ) aflati intre doua fronturi in conditii grele de razboi, fiind o marturie valoroasa asupra vietii zilnice a oamenilor de rand.

F. Falk's Autograph

1 Item

An autograph in my mother's Autograph Album written by a German POW working on my Grandfather's farm in Flinshire in 1919. Translation: He who wants to gather roses, mustn't be afraid of the thorns! He who wants to be happy in love must be very modest! (Question: Did Friedrich have a soft spot for my mother?) Far from home , in the land of the Welsh I found friends. God bless the bond. My Grandmother's brother was killed by the Germans in June 1917, yet she was able to befriend this German POW. I'm grateful for that.
