Albert Brookesbank

Death plaque in original sleeve Memorial book (page 8) - (pages 66-69)
The contributor Ian Wilson believed that Albert Brookesbank may have been his great uncle. Prior to the war he worked at the Midland Railway, based at Leeds Station, as a wagon lifter in the Carriage & Wagon Department. He served as a private in Kings Own Yorkshire Light Infantry. The contributor brought in various artefacts including a memorial book issued by the Midland Railway (page 8 refers to Albert Brookesbank) and the death plaque issued to soldiers who died in the war.
