'Remembrance.' A British sentimental postcard.

A British sentimental postcard.
The posed photograph on the front of this postcard presents a small girl sitting on her mother’s lap, while her mother apparently gets on with some mending. A head-and-shoulders photograph of a British soldier, cigarette in mouth, has been inset above, so that he seems to be looking down on his wife and daughter. The following lines appear above the woman and child: ‘Remembrance. Though you’re far apart today, / Still in our thoughts you dwell, / And we send our loving wishes / Far more than words can tell.’. ‘Printed in England’ and ‘All British Production / Series No 496 4’ are printed on the reverse.

A British sentimental postcard entitled 'Remembrance.
