Beneath this, in a box, are the engraver’s details. The country of manufacture ‘AMERICA is in plain English, and the maker’s name is give in Russian Cyrillc as ‘Х БЪЛОУСЪ’, which might transliterate to something like ‘H. Blous’, or ‘H. Belous’, and might possibly have an ‘e’ at the end of the name. The ‘N.Y.’ is, as with the country of manufacture, not in Cyrillic, and represents New York.
