Hans Friedrich Nicolaisen war in Russland im Einsatz als Landsturmmann. Im Oktober 1916 in Russland (Geluty?), ab 06. August 1917 auf Heimaturlaub, danach wieder nach Russland. Am 01. Juli 1918 Stettin, am 03. Juli 1918 in Aachen, danach ging er nach Belgien.

Friedrich Wilhelm Nippa geboren in Quicka (Masuren Kr. Johannisburg); gest. Jan 1945 in Havelberg (Brandenburg). Er ist der Urgroßvater des Teilnehmers. Nippa hatte nicht gedient, er war Landwirt, sein Hof seit 300 Jahren in Familienbesitz. Nach dem Einfall der Russen in Ostpreußen wurde er während der Besetzung verschleppt und geriet in Kriegsgefangenschaft nach Sterlitamak, aus der er die Karten schrieb (Zivilgefangener). Briefe an Frank Czablenski, den Schwiegersohn von Friedrich Wilhelm Nippa und an Marta Czablenski, die Tochter von Friedrich Wilhelm Nippa, beide wohnhaft in (Berlin) Wilmersdorf und an Leopold Sadowski in Stettin (Verwandtschaft?).
