This postcard is entitled ‘Conscription for me? Not likely!’. Two photographs appear beneath this legend. To the right is an inset portrait of a British soldier’s face. The main part of the postcard is occupied by a boy, who has been photographed wearing a British Army officer’s uniform, albeit with his tunic undone and his cap pushed to the side. The printed information on the reverse states ‘112 Entirely British Manufacture.’.

A British patriotic postcard || A baby, with dummy and bib, and wearing a British soldier’s cap, has been portrayed on the front of this postcard, above the legend ‘Conscription / It’s good for you!’.
