'Serious news.'
Headed ‘Serious News.’, this postcard depicts a boy dressed as a British soldier with his cap askew and a pipe in his mouth. He is apparently studying a newspaper (which he is holding upside down). Text inside the stamp box on the reverse states ‘Entirely British Production’. Between the words ‘Post and ‘Card’ is a circular logo depicting a ship, around which are the words ‘Silk & Terry Birmingham’.
