Du lundi 21 au jeudi 24 août 2017, à Ax-les-Thermes, dans les Pyrénées, s'est déroulé le Transcribathon LUDOVIA#14. Durant ces quatre jours, les participants ont transcrit 136 documents, soit près de 136681 caractères. Un très grand merci à tous nos transcripteurs et à tous les participants, qui ont travaillé sur notre sélection de documents rédigés en français !
Le Transcribathon LUDOVIA s'est tenu dans le cadre de la 14e édition de l'université d'été annuelle LUDOVIA, une série de conférences sur le numérique et l'éducation. Nous avons eu le plaisir d'être invité à cet événement spécial et d'avoir ainsi la possibilité de présenter Transcribathon Europeana 1914-1918 au public français.
Un des temps forts de ces quelques jours a été la magnifique interprétation de la chansons « les Montagnards », chanson qui faisait parti de notre sélection de documents, réalisées par Mme. et M. Perez.
Durant ces quatre jours, nous avons organisé deux ateliers et présentations, à chaque fois en mettant l'accent sur l'utilisation de Transcribathon en classe et dans un but éducatif.
Nous tenons à remercier tout particulièrement les participants de l'atelier et notamment les professeurs enthousiastes à l'idée d'utiliser Transcribathon dans leurs classes !

From Monday 21 August 2017 to Thursday 24th August 2017, Transcribathon LUDOVIA#14 took place in the town of Ax-les-Thermes in the French Pyrenees. During these four days, 136 documents, which amount to 13.6681 characters, were transcribed. A big thank you goes out to every one of our transcribers and participants who took part in this special Transcribathon and worked on our specially-selected French documents!
The Transcribathon LUDOVIA event was part of the 14th edition of the annual Summer University LUDOVIA, the summer conference on digitalisation and education in France. We were delighted to be invited to this special event and to be able to present Transcribathon Europeana 1914-1918 to our French audience! One particular highlight was Mrs. and Mr. Pérez’s fantastic rendition of the song 'Les Montagnards’, which was featured in our special documents!
During these four days, we held two workshops and presentations with a particular focus on using Transcribathon in the classroom and for education purposes. Special thanks to our workshop participants, particularly those teachers who are enthusiastic about using Transcribathon in their classes! Our new Transcribathon for Education website will help you to set up a Transcribathon with your students.
