Cork. 9th Batt Royal Dublin Fusiliers. Died accidently following fall downstairs at barracks 3 May 1915. Born Dublin 1877. Married Dublin 1898. Survived by wife Isabella and four children. ( Mary 15 yrs- Margaret 9 yrs- Elizabeth 3 yrs and William Infant.)

The postcard has been franked ‘Scarborough then in the North Riding of Yorkshire, 9 AUG 17’. A pencilled hand has addressed it to ‘Mrs Brook / 13 Beechwood View / Busby / Leeds then in the West Riding of Yorkshire’.
