A British sentimental postcard. || The posed photograph on the front of this postcard presents a small girl sitting on her mother’s lap, while her mother apparently gets on with some mending. A head-and-shoulders photograph of a British soldier, cigarette in mouth, has been inset above, so that he seems to be looking down on his wife and daughter.
