Monographic bibliographic item

This is an Allied medallion from 1914. The front shows a female figure representing Justice, with her right hand resting on a sword which is impaled onto an eagle, possibly representing Austria, while holding a wreath, representing victory. In her left hand are scales. Around her is the Latin text ‘Pro Causa Justitiae’, for ‘For Just Cause’. To the right is Rd. 651731”, presumably the design registration number. The reverse shows images of 7 Allied leaders. The top row shows Tsar Nicholas II of Russia and President Poincaire of France; middle row shows King Albert I of Belgium, King George V of Great Britain, and King Victor Emanuel III of Italy; the bottom row shows King Peter I of Serbia and Emperor Taisho of Japan. || ‘Pro Causa Justitiae’ medallion
