Also a photograph of the family, and of the headstone of Donald's parents grave, near Hastings || Rachel's Grandfather Donald worked as a druggist and had a pharmacy. Donald served in the Coldstream Guards, and was transferred to the Household Battalion. His parents held the pharmacy when he was away at war, his father Frederick passed away during that time, in 1915. His mother Margaret recieved a message saying both brothers had gone missing in action and took her life very shortly after the death of her husband. He returned to the pharmacy after the war.
