A real photographic postcard || There is nothing on the front or back of this real photographic postcard to identify the family pictured, or the studio that produced it. Although the photograph of a small girl dressed in her best, her mother and her soldier–father has not aged well, certain details can be noted, such as the girl’s necklace and her mother’s rings. Her soldier–father is wearing a well-worn uniform, and the three stripes on his sleeves tell us that he is a sergeant. He also wears a white lanyard.
