An persönliche Daten werden aufgeführt: Dienstantritt am 17.12.1914, Entlassung am 14.12.1918. Metzer Inf.-Reg. 98, 1. Kompanie. Beförderung am 22.05.1917 zum Gefreiten, 17.10.1917 zum Krankenträger-Unteroffizier, Liste von Schlachten (Westfront) an denen Josef König teilgenommen hat. Einträge über Lazarettaufhalte. Am 15.2.1917 wurde Josef König das Eiserne Kreuz verliehen (Vorläufiger Ausweis) Am 25.11.1918 erhielt er das vom Kaiser am 3.3.1918 gestiftete Verwundetenabzeichen in Schwarz(Besitzzeugnis)

Militärpass von Hubert Josef Eschweiler. || Großformatiges Foto im Rahmen von Hubert Josef Eschweiler, dem Vater von Fine Eschweiler, auf einem Pferd sitzend, in Uniform. Die Fotos zeigen ihn zusammen mit seiner Schwester und ihn allein (ein Foto ist von 1917). Er trat am 09.01.1917 als Ersatzrekrut beim 4. Rekrutendepot, Ersatz-Pionier Bataillon Nr. 27, in den Heeresdienst ein. Hubert Josef Eschweiler war an der Westfront im Kampfeinsatz. Am 29.03.1917 wurde er zunächst zur 2. Ersatzabteilung, Feldartillerie Regiment 67 Hagenau versetzt und kam letztlich am 09.08.1917 zum Feldartillerieregiment 505, 4. Batterie. Er nahm an zahlreichen Schlachten in Frankreich, Flandern, an der Aisne, an der Marne usw. teil. Der letzte Eintrag vermerkt den Rückmarsch seiner Truppe vom 16.11.1918 bis zum 22.11.1918. Er überlebte den Krieg und erhielt am 06.05.1918 das Eiserne Kreuz II. Klasse. Der Grund ist unbekannt. Er galt zunächst als vermisst und kam letztendlich 1919 nach Hause. Dienstgrad: Kanonier, später wurde er zum Gefreiten befördert. Er erlitt bei Kampfhandlungen leichte Verletzungen. Geburtsdatum ist der 04.03.1898, im Pass steht das falsche Datum!
