Ernest Wilson

Ernest Wilson was a schoolteacher before the outbreak of war. He joined the Liverpool Scottish Regiment. His mother was Scottish. He was gassed, which had long term effects on his health. After the war he turned his back on teaching and became a pay clerk at a coal mine near Wigan. Ernest died in 1945. || Group photograph. Cap badge. Two medals.
