The Europeana 1989 showcases stories of the fall of the Iron Curtain collected from the European public beginning in 2015.
30 years ago, a wall divided Europe in two. Following the end of the Cold War and the fall of the Iron Curtain, Europe reunited again. Learn more about the revolutionary events of the period by deciphering, transcribing and annotating their fascinating, personal stories.
