Medals Card for 1914-1918 Campaign Medals (Capt DD Sheehan)

1 Item

Medals Card copy from the National Archives, Kew, London. It lists the three 1914-1918 Campaign Medals awarded to Captain Daniel Desmond Sheehan MP, RMF, the 1914-15 Star, the British War Meal and the Allied Victory Medal as well as his disability ‘Silver War Badge’ (SWB). A medals card was issued to all other six members of the family for the three campaign medals (except VAD nurse Eileen M Sheehan, who first came to the front in 1916, and was only awarded the latter two medals).
