Edward Allison | Royal Artillery

This story relates to Edward Allison, my husband's father. He came from Scagglethorpe, near Malton, Yorkshire. This is all we know about him. He died in about 1942. He was invalided out of the army, but I don't know why or when. The Victory Medal inscription provides his service number as 252385 and identifies him as a Gunner in the Royal Field Artillery.
