'The new love.'

1 Item

The image depicted on the front of this postcard is of a girl asleep in bed, clutching a doll dressed as a British soldier. To the side lie a teddy bear and a female doll. The caption reads, ‘The new love’. The printed information on the back includes the following details: ‘Inter-Art Co., Red Lion Square, London, W.C. / “NEW LOVE” Series. No. 251. British Manufacture.’. Postally used, the message and postmark on this very worn postcard are only partially legible. The pencilled message, address and postmark indicate that it was sent by ‘Auntie’ in Bude, Cornwall, to her unmarried niece, Sybil, also in Cornwall. || A British patriotic postcard || || Postcard || A British patriotic postcard
