M. Jean-Paul Boilleau, contributeur souhaite déposer les archives du Grand père de Madame : Robert, Louis, Auguste Robert Fouillard né le 21 mai 1891 à la Chapelle-Souëf (61) décédé le 16 décembre 1963. Il demeurait à Saint Germain de la Coudre (Orne) où il était buraliste.
Récipiendaire de la Croix de guerre et de Médaille militaire 1914-18, il était Adjudant-chef d’infanterie et fut fait Chevalier de l’ordre national de la légion d’honneur le 21 juin 1960.

Photographs of Robert Maxwell with family and with horses; certificates and other documentation; handwritten poem called The Parting Rosary. || Robert Maxwell was my Grandfather. He was born in 1887 and served in the Royal Artillery in WWI He had a totla of 14 children and was married 3 times. The fmaily story is that Robert was driving horses and mules. He was caught in heavy shelling and his animals were killed but he had a lucky escape! He worked for the Guinness brewery in Dublin and died in 1956.
