Straßburg, Elsass; Er war hauptsächlich im Elsass stationiert und wurde 1917 in Flandern verwundet und kam nach Gent, Belgien ins Lazarett (27.07.1917-01.05.1918).; Von dort wurde er nach Hause entlassen für den Dienst an der Heimatfront; Hans Kähler war als Angestellter bei der Germania-Werft in Flensburg tätig; Auszüge aus dem Kriegstagebuch (im Original und als Transkript) von Hans Kähler; transkribiert wurde das Tagebuch von Jürgen Kähler; Hans Kähler verfasste sein Tagebuch vom 10.05.1916 bis zum 10.09.1918.
